What video formats are supported?

MP4 (H.264 and HEVC), MOV (QuickTime), and WebM. These cover the vast majority of screen recordings, meeting recordings, and phone videos.

Is my video uploaded to a server?

No. All processing happens in your browser. Your video file never leaves your device.

What is the maximum file size?

2 GB. For best performance, use Chrome or Edge which support hardware-accelerated video encoding.

Does cropping preserve the original audio?

Yes. The original audio track is passed through to the output file without re-encoding, so there is no audio quality loss.

What output format will I get?

In Chrome and Edge, you get an MP4 file. In other browsers, the tool falls back to WebM output.
